El Abismo y sus huecos, la incertidumbre viva: Ya nada se oía. Solo el silencio. Sólo el abismo de ese silencio.

En los intervalos de tiempo dentro de cada uno, sombra y luz bordadas de genipap, un chivo grita dentro de mí, el rostro se multiplica colgado en el lienzo oscuro, un bendito, zoom… letanía, incelenza en el camino. El cordón rompe la incertidumbre. Mirar refleja el asombro de la imagen sobre el hormigón. Tierra protegida, seres demarcados, inscritos en la materia.

Fundamentalmente, es una investigación sobre el archivo. Pero, ¿a qué apuntan? el aire está lleno de polvo. El suelo está cubierto de innumerables hojas inmaculadas sobre las que pisan siluetas asustadas, blancas como fantasmas. No está claro qué está pasando; la gente huye de una nube de silencio.

Todo lo que queda es una increíble pila de escombros incomprensibles y vagamente patéticos: el verdadero presente de las cosas, de la materia, ahora está expuesto allí, tirado en el suelo: una mezcolanza de piezas de pasados desconectados, arrojados simultáneamente en este congelado en piedra. ahora. . Nos queda recoger las sombras de los seres y exponerlas en la galería del futuro.

¿Por qué son importantes estas fotografías en particular para su investigación?

Los caminos recorridos por estas imágenes acumulan varios recuerdos de este archivo y de las alianzas que lo constituyeron. Los montajes y desmontajes que la componen fueron sintonizando con estos recuerdos, representaciones, negociaciones, narraciones, teorías, aprendizajes, iniciaciones, desaciertos y aciertos. Estas imágenes son parte de un proceso de duelo y lucha.

Fundamentally, it is an investigation into the archive. But what do they point to? the air is full of dust. The ground is covered with countless immaculate leaves on which frightened silhouettes, white as ghosts, tread. It’s not clear what’s going on; people run away from a cloud of silence.

All that’s left is an incredible pile of incomprehensible, vaguely pathetic debris: The true present of things, of matter, is now exposed there, sprawled on the floor: a hodgepodge of pieces of disconnected pasts, thrown simultaneously into this frozen-in-stone now. . It remains for us to gather the shadows of beings and expose them in the gallery of the future.

Why are those particular photographs important to your research?

The paths taken by these images accumulate various memories of this archive and of the alliances that constituted them. The montages and disassembly that compose it were getting in tune with these memories, representations, negotiations, narratives, theories, learnings, initiations, mistakes and successes. These images are part of a process of mourning and struggle.
